Influences: Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Guns n Roses and The Doors.

My reason for being a part of this band was to start making music again after a break of seven years. Comparing those early years of Islamabad Underground S.C.A.R with what I saw later, things had changed fast…there were new bands/artists on the scene who were quite good, there were more venues for live music and Internet was being used as an excellent medium to reach out … the stage seemed so right in Pakistan for a rock n roll onslaught. I met Teeps and Fifu at one of those jams at Zaed's residence and it was decided that we form a band .…correctly named by Fifu as Surge….

A special thanks to Wasim, Sarmad, Mahvesh, Kaleem, Umair(Baby), Schumail and Adil who are also a part of Surge one way or the other….rock on !!!
